Yesterday, on Broker’s Tour, I went to see the Harrison, a new luxury development in SOMA designed by Ken Fulk. I have known Ken since he was doing basic stagings for $700,000 homes, and now he is an internationally celebrated designer. Upon entering from the valet parking area, my colleague and I came upon the pantry, pictured above, which is a terrific amenity available daily for the residents. We were offered many tasty treats, including delicious pastries, coffees, teas, pellegrino, and more – I have to admit it would be tough to resist if I lived there!
By Christmas, they will have a bar, Uncle Harry’s, at the top of the building with incredible views of the Bay, for the residents and their guests only. A number of buildings like the Harrison, and the up and coming 181 Fremont, have a private floor with a club feel that includes a bar and have other amenities, like a pantry, to attract new buyers.
If you would like to tour the Harrison or 181 Fremont, give me a call.
