In case you are wondering if the real estate market has cooled down, it does not look like it. My recent new listing at 2 Lake Forest Court in Forest Knolls went pending two weeks after it came on the market, receiving 2 offers and going substantially over the asking price. The 3 bedroom view home is located on a leafy cul-de-sac in Forest Knolls. The owner who built the home in 1961 lived there until she passed away at the age of 93. She took good care of her home and obviously enjoyed living there since she never moved away in almost 60 years!. A neighbor tells me the neighborhood is changing with many young families moving in. I will be bringing another 3 bedroom home on the market next month – this time in the Parkside. Homes are selling faster than condos these days in the city. Since the pandemic, there is more interest in outdoor space and extra room and homes often have the advantage in providing both of these attributes.
